- Harrold Odell Country Park

- The Ivel Valley Conservation Volunteers
The Next IVCV Task on October 17th is Reserve Management at Baulk Wood Henlow. Please call the office on 01767 626326 beforehand to confirm the meeting time and place. Thanks.

- Bedfordshire RIGS
 The exciting new Bedfordshire and Luton Geology Group (RIGS) group is now up and running, and has a web site with lots of exciting information, leaflets and even a book you can have a look at. Please click here to visit the website.
- The Launch of BORP!
 There are otters on many of Bedfordshire's Rivers and lakes and The Bedfordshire Otters and Rivers Project (BORP) is helping to keep them here. BORP now has it's own website - click here to find out more. It's not just about otters though and covers a multitude of watery things, including water voles and white-clawed crayfish. Visit the new website to find out more.
- The Greensand Ridge Walk
The Launch of the Greensand Ridge Walk was held on the 1st of August at Ampthill Park, adjacent to Katherine's Cross, this was led by Henry the VIII who launched the walk but "be-heading" a ribbon with a ceremonial axe. The launch was a great success with about 100 people attending.
If you would like a walk leaflet please send us a stamped addressed envelope A5 sized and we will be happy to send you one, alternatively you can get one from Harrold Odell Country Park, Bedfordshire Libraries or local Tourist Information Centres.
