How You Can Help Us

There are many ways in which you can help us make the Ivel and Ouse valleys better places to live.

IVCV

If you are an individual, you can help us by:

  • Joining the Ivel Valley Conservation Volunteers
  • Undertaking wildlife surveys (otters, water voles, ponds, willow trees and general wildlife)
  • Undertaking surveys of recreational routes
  • Undertaking voluntary administration work
  • Informing us of any notable wildlife sightings
  • Giving, financially, to the work of the Project

If you represent a community group, you can help us by:

  • Assisting with practical conservation and access related tasks
  • Assisting with our wildlife surveys
  • Undertaking surveys of recreational routes
  • Informing us of any notable wildlife sightings

If you are a landowner, you can help us by:

  • Allowing us to survey the wildlife on your land
  • Assisting with maintaining and enhancing the public rights of way on your land
  • Managing your land in an environmentally sensitive manner
  • Maintaining existing habitats and landscape features
  • Creating new habitats (eg planting trees and hedges, creating ponds)
  • Informing us of any notable wildlife sightings

If you represent a local business, you can help us by:

  • Sponsoring Project initiatives
  • Donating 'in-kind' materials/ services
