(IVCP) Ivel Valley Sites and Trails


Warren Villas Nature Reserve, Sandy
This 19 acre nature reserve is owned by RMC Aggregates. The site is managed in partnership with the Wildlife Trust and the Project; and is dominated by a large lake created by gravel extraction. Over 100 species of bird have been recorded on the site. Look for: terns and great crested grebes; dragonflies and damselflies; frogs and toads; and many willow species.
