(IVCP) Ivel Valley Sites and Trails

A 7 mile/ 11km walk based on the riverside and countryside between Sandy and Blunham. This route encircles the town of Sandy and passes through areas of riverside grassland, open farmland and mature woodland. The riverside grassland and lakes along the route are particularly good for bird watching and excellent views of the Valley can been seen from 'The Pinnacle', on the Greensand Ridge to the east of Sandy.
