The 'Skylark Ride' - Circular Horseriders Route

The Skylark Ride is currently under re-development and as such the leaflet is no longer available in paper copy. However please click here for .JPG images of the outside of the leaflet including the route description and other details or click here for the inside of the leaflet featuring the map. Each part is just under 1MB in size so watch out if you are on dial up. You can copy and paste them into another programme to print them out at the size of your choice but they were originally A3 and if you try and print them directly each of the nine panels of the page comes out at about A4...

A series of circular routes for horseriders ranging from 6 - 20 miles/ 10 - 32km in east Bedfordshire. This series of rides is served by 2 farms which allow horse boxes to be parked. Passing many of the towns and villages to the north east of Biggleswade, the ride crosses Biggleswade Common and the RSPB reserve at Sandy before passing through areas of open farmland and woodland. Look out for, of course, the skylark which although nationally scarce is still often seen in this part of Bedfordshire.
